About Me
My journey to becoming a passionate artisan has been filled with creativity, exploration, and a love for bringing beauty into the world. I am delighted to share my story with you.
Early Inspirations
My creative spark was ignited by my family. While my mom inspired me with her sewing and knitting, my dad’s love for music and table tennis shaped much of my early passions. Growing up, I immersed myself in music, learning classical guitar, and competed in table tennis tournaments. These moments taught me discipline, focus, and the joy of creating something meaningful—whether it was music or athletic achievement.
Flying High as a Flight Attendant
Life took an unexpected turn when I began my career as a flight attendant. I was honored to work with leading airlines, including Sempati Airlines and Garuda Indonesia, where I flew domestic and international routes on aircraft like the Airbus 320 and Boeing 747. The experience allowed me to connect with people from around the world, sparking my appreciation for diverse cultures and aesthetics.
Entrepreneurial Ventures
After retiring from aviation, I ventured into entrepreneurship and opened a coffee shop. Over 10 years, I built a thriving business, even coordinating events with major telecommunications companies and hosting meet-and-greets with renowned artists and bands. This journey taught me the value of community and creativity in business.
A Creative Turn with Play-Doh
In 2014, while living in Ecuador, I launched a YouTube channel, Play Doh Craft N Toys, as a creative outlet. The channel grew beyond my wildest dreams, gaining over 1.5 million subscribers and nearly 1 billion views. This chapter deepened my passion for crafting and sharing joy with others.
Finding Beauty in Nature
In 2016, I moved to the United States and now live in the picturesque state of Montana. The breathtaking beauty of flowers here inspired me to preserve their elegance. I began creating pressed flower art and later expanded into stained glass designs, often inspired by nature’s vibrant colors and intricate patterns. To bring my creations to a wider audience, I started selling on Etsy with two stores: Fondanista, where I focused on stained glass art and pressed flower frames, and FlowersStudioCo, dedicated to pressed flowers. Selling on Etsy was a way for me to build my business while having more time for my family after moving to the U.S.
As my business grew, I expanded beyond Etsy. I became a vendor at art and craft events across Montana, where I connected with customers and fellow artisans who appreciated my work. I also had the privilege of showcasing my art in local shops, including the Yellowstone Art Museum Store in Billings, MT.
My work reflects my love for detail and my desire to bring a touch of serenity into your space. I also enjoy sharing my creative process and passion with others through my YouTube channel, FlowersStudioCo, where I demonstrate how to make pressed flowers, encase them between glass, and solder them into beautiful designs.
Why I Do What I Do
Crafting pressed flower frames and stained glass art is more than a business for me—it’s a way to celebrate nature’s fleeting beauty and turn it into timeless pieces for your home. Each piece is handcrafted with care, reflecting my passion for creating meaningful and beautiful artwork.
